How to Join TTR

Requirements

PC/Desktop Computer

RedM Only works on PC's

Own Red Dead Redemption II or Red Dead Online

Can be either on Steam or Rockstar

RedM Installed

Have RedM installed.
[DOWNLOAD FROM CFX]

Step One

Have RDRII or RDO Installed

Before installing RedM, you need to own and have installed one of the following versions of Red Dead Redemption 2: 

Note: RedM only works on PC, and does not work with the Xbox Game Pass version of Red Dead Redemption 2.

You can own these games through Steam, Epic Store, or Rockstar.

Step Two

Install RedM
  1. Download RedM from the official website: https://redm.net
  2. Run the RedM installer and install it to your PC.
    Installation Path: RedM must be installed on the same drive as Red Dead Redemption 2.
  3. Once installed, open RedM. It will prompt you to log in with your Rockstar Social Club account (the same one you use for Red Dead Redemption 2).
  4. RedM will then download and install additional files needed to run properly. Wait for the download to complete (this may take some time).

Note: Whenever you want to play RedM, all you need to do is launch just RedM; however, have your Discord Application open.

Step Three

Get Whitelisted

The Tackroom requires you to be whitelisted to play on the server. This is a short process that we have to ensure those playing on the server are a great fit for the community.

  1. Join The Tackroom Discord server: https://thetackroom-RedM.com/discord
  2. Once in discord you’ll get a welcome message with instructions. Follow those instructions those as your first step is verification, and then after is answering 3 quick questions.
  3. Wait for an admin to review and manually approve your whitelist request.
  4. Once your name turns a light blue, and you can see “Boarder” role on your account you know you’re in!

Step Four

Time to Play!

Launch RedM and Find the Server

  1. Open RedM and click on “Play”.
  2. In the search bar, type “The Tackroom” and you’ll see an icon with a western saddle.
  3. Click “Join” and start your journey!
