We built an interactive map for The Tackroom, and it changes everything about how you explore the server.
Whether you’re tracking down wild horse herds across, hunting for collector items scattered across the map, or scouting cattle herd locations before organizing a drive with your friends, the TTR Interactive Map puts every location at your fingertips. No more asking in Discord where something spawns. No more riding in circles hoping to stumble onto the right spot.
Open the map. Click what you’re looking for. Go get it.
WHERE TO FIND THE MAP
You can access the TTR Interactive Map at thetackroom-redm.com/ttr-map . It works on desktop and mobile browsers, and you don’t need to be logged in or connected to the server to use it. Pull it up on your phone while you play, keep it on a second monitor, or check it before you log in to plan your session. Your call.
The map covers the full Red Dead Redemption 2 world including the main continent, however for right now it does not include a detailed map of Guarama. Every marker is placed at the exact in-game location, converted from actual server coordinates.

WILD HORSE HERDS: 49 SPAWN LOCATIONS
One of the most popular activities on The Tackroom is catching wild horses. We’ve mapped 49 wild horse spawn locations across the entire map, from the snowy peaks near Colter down through the Great Plains, across the Heartlands, and into the swamps of Lemoyne. There are even spawn points on Guarma for those who make the trip.
Every pin shows “Wild Horse Spawn” with a description explaining how the system works. When you find and catch a wild horse at one of these locations, the breed changes into something from our custom SireVLC breed list once you adopt it. That means every single catch is a surprise. You might lasso a standard-looking Morgan and end up with a rare custom coat you’ve never seen before.
If you’re new to wild horse catching on TTR, the map makes planning a route simple. Toggle on the Wild Horse Herds layer, zoom into the region you’re riding through, and hit every spawn point along the way. Some players spend entire sessions doing wild horse runs, and this map turns a random search into an efficient loop.

THE COLLECTOR ROLE: 265 PINNED LOCATIONS
The SireVLC Collector role on TTR gives you 11 different collection categories to work through. We’ve mapped every known collectible location, 265 pins total, broken down by type.
Cards make up the largest category with 145 locations. These are spread across the entire map. The cards are organized into named sets: Artists Painters Writers, Fauna of North America, Prominent Americans, Stars of the Stage, Gems of Beauty, Famous Gunslingers, Amazing Inventions, World Champions, Breeds of Horses, Wild Flora, Marvels of Travel, and Vistas Scenery. Each pin on the map shows the exact card name and number, so you know which one you’re picking up before you ride there.
Beyond cards, you’ll find Fossils (20 locations), Coins (15), Heirlooms (15), Arrowheads (12), Earrings (11), Rings (11), Eggs (10), Alcohol bottles (9), Necklaces (9), and Bracelets (8).
Each collector category has its own toggle in the sidebar. If you’re only working on completing your Fossils collection, turn on Fossils and turn everything else off. The map becomes a focused checklist. Work through them one by one, then switch to the next category when you’re done.
CATTLE HERDS: PLAN YOUR DRIVES
Cattle herding is a group activity on TTR where players round up herds and drive them across the map. We’ve mapped 4 cattle herd spawn locations so you and your group can plan drives ahead of time. Check where the nearest herd spawns relative to your ranch or destination, coordinate with your crew, and ride out together knowing exactly where you’re headed.
ANIMALS, BIRDS, AND FISH
The map includes animal, bird, and fish spawn data from the base Red Dead Redemption 2 game. This data comes from the original jeanropke map project and covers hundreds of species locations across the map.
For TTR players, this is useful for hunting trips, fishing expeditions, and herbalism gathering. If you need a specific animal for a delivery or a particular fish species, toggle on the category, find the nearest spawn, and ride there. The animal and bird categories each expand into individual species subcategories, so you can filter down to exactly what you need.
Plant locations are also available for herbalism runs. Toggle on Plants in the sidebar to see where specific herbs and flowers grow. Herbalism is a core activity on TTR, and having exact plant locations saves a lot of wandering.
HOW THE MAP WORKS
The sidebar on the left side of the map gives you toggle controls for every marker category. Click a category name to show or hide its markers on the map. Multiple categories show at the same time, so you can layer wild horses and collector items together if you want to hit both during one ride.
Click on any marker pin and a popup appears with the item name and a description of where to find it. Some markers also include images showing you exactly what to look for at that location.
Sightseeing locations are also available. These are points of interest around the map, scenic overlooks, landmarks, and hidden spots worth visiting. Good for new players getting oriented or experienced players looking for photo opportunities.
User Pins let you drop your own custom markers anywhere on the map. Found a fishing spot nobody else knows about? A shortcut through the mountains? A great screenshot location? Pin it, name it, add a description. Your personal pins save in your browser and stay there next time you open the map.
The map also remembers your toggle preferences. If you turn off categories you don’t use, they’ll stay off when you come back.
WHAT’S THE TACKROOM?
If you’re reading this and haven’t joined the server yet, here’s what The Tackroom is all about.
The Tackroom is an 18+ RedM equestrian sandbox server. RedM is a multiplayer modification framework for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, similar to how FiveM works for GTA V. Our server takes the Red Dead world and fills it with custom gameplay systems built around horses, community, and slice-of-life as we like to call it.
We run custom horse breeds through SireVLC with dozens of unique coats and over 1,000 custom tack options. Players catch wild horses, breed them, train them, and show them in player-organized competitions at our custom-built Horse Park. The Horse Park includes western competition arenas, show jumping courses, dressage arenas, cross-country courses, an auction house, and covered arenas. All built by community members.
Beyond horses, The Tackroom offers a full slice-of-life experience. Here’s what you’ll find on the server.
- Own a home or ranch through our real estate system. Pick from community homes or request custom property through the Real Estate team. Build out your dream ranch and make it your home base.
- Go bounty hunting with our custom bounty hunter role. Track down targets, bring them in, and earn your keep on the right side of the law. Or the wrong side. Your choice.
- Work the collector role with our SireVLC collector system. Ride the map collecting cards, fossils, coins, heirlooms, arrowheads, jewelry, eggs, and alcohol bottles. Eleven collection types with hundreds of locations. That’s what this interactive map was built for.
- Run a farm using our custom farming script. Plant crops, tend to them, and harvest. The farming system is optimized for large player counts, so even when 180+ players are online, your farm runs smooth.
- Fish across every body of water in the game. Rivers, lakes, swamps, and ocean. The fishing script on TTR is a relaxing way to spend time between bigger activities, and plenty of players build their sessions around fishing trips.
- Mine for gold and other resources. Head into the mountains and work claims. A good way to earn money if you prefer solo activities over group content.
- Forage herbs with our custom herbalism system. Gather ingredients across the map for crafting and selling. The herbalism script is built to handle high player counts without lag, using optimized streaming and batch processing.
- Join or create an association with other players. Associations on TTR are player-run groups that organize around shared interests, whether that’s horse breeding, ranching, trading, or competition riding.
- Attend events. We run server-wide events alongside player-organized competitions at the Horse Park. Show jumping, dressage, western games, trail rides, auctions, and seasonal celebrations. Check our event calendar to see what’s coming up.
- here are no strict roleplay rules and no griefer chaos. The server supports 180+ concurrent players and our community has over 10,000 Discord members.
WHAT’S COMING NEXT FOR THE MAP
This is the first version of the TTR Interactive Map. We’re actively adding more data as we go.
YMAp building locations are next on the list. We’re also planning to add farming and herbalism zones, custom TTR locations unique to our server, and TTR-specific daily challenges. If you find a collectible location that’s missing, a pin in the wrong spot, or a wild horse spawn we haven’t mapped yet, let us know in Discord. We update the map regularly and every correction helps the whole community
